Rays players and wives are working together to make children's dreams come true! Wives and players are putting on a fashion show to raise money for The Children's Dream Fund, to help children with life-threatening diseases.
On Thursday, June 14, Tampa Bay Rays players , their wives, and some very special dream children, will model the latest fashions from Saks Fifth Avenue, all to make dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses.
The annual event, Rays on the Runway, will take place at the St. Petersburg Marriott, 12600 Roosevelt Blvd., St. Petersburg, on Thursday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m. The event features a cocktail hour and meet & greet with the players, followed by a runway fashion show.
Players scheduled to appear are: Ryane and James Shields, Heather and JP Howell, Giselle and Sean Rodriguez, Alison and Derek Shelton, Nicole and Elliot Johnson, Katelyn and Wade Davis, Nina Dominguez and Jose Lobaton, Pamela and Carlos Pena, Sara and Burke Bradenhop, Julianna and Ben Zobrist, Melanie McCauley and Cesar Ramos, Stefanie Bernett and BJ Upton, Teresa and Rich Thompson, Will Rhymes, Anna Orlando and Matt Moore, Luke Scott, Matt Joyce, Natalie Cresta and Jeremy Hellickson, Sara and Sam Fuld.
Representing the Children's Dream Fund are: Logan Florin, 19, Tarpon Springs; Jessica Zelitt, 11, Bradenton; Taylor Brandt, 15, Dade City; King Brewer, 7, Bushnell; Manny Escamilla, 5, St. Petersburg; Emalie "Gracie" Slemp, 3, Lutz; Jeremy Keyser, 10, Largo; and Jesse Mazen, 14, Valrico.
The Children's Dream Fund has been making dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses on the West Coast of Florida since 1981.
