Summer Camps
This summer, the Zoo School at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo is headquarters for more than 100 week-long camps for students who have completed K-8th grades. Kids and teens can learn about nature, science and the animal kingdom while hiking through the Zoo, exploring behind-the-scenes and cooling off in the Zoo's water play areas. Adventure camps include animal encounters, keeper talks, educational shows, games, crafts and more.
A typical day at Summer Camp Includes:
?Zoo hikes
?Classroom lessons with pictures and artifacts
?Daily animal encounter or animal enrichment
?Activities based on the weekly camp theme
?Arts and crafts projects
?Animal shows
?Animal feedings
?Keeper talks
?Educational videos
Time
Camp begins PROMPTLY at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you need to drop your child off before 8:55 a.m. or pick them up after 4 p.m. you MUST sign up for Extended Care.

Annual Zoo Pass Holder: $170/child per week
Non-Zoo Pass Holder: $/190child per week
Shutterbug Camps

Non-Zoo Pass Holder: $195/child per week
*We loan Fisher Price Kid Tough digital cameras, but if you would like to use your own personal camera, feel free to bring it along.
Animal Handling/Animal Trainer Camps
Annual Zoo Pass Holder: $200/child per week
Non-Zoo Pass Holder: $220/child per week
Saddle Up Camps
Exclusive camps for grades 4-8.
Annual Zoo Pass Holder: $355/child per week
Non-Zoo Pass Holder: $355/child per week
Extended Care
Morning: 7-9 a.m., $25/week
Afternoon: 4-6 p.m., $25/week
Extended care can only be for the entire week. We do not prorate the price of extended care.
