About Kevin Pollak
Extraordinarily talented and deviously clever, the great Kevin Pollak has dazzled audiences as a comedian, as an impressionist, as a dramatic actor, as a writer, as a producer, as a director and as a talk-show host.  On Saturday, July 28, Kevin Pollak will return to his comedy roots for one-night-only in Tampa Bay's most intimate concert venue.

Pollak started performing stand-up comedy at age ten and was an accomplished touring professional by age 20.  In 1988, shortly after he shot his first HBO stand-up special, he landed a role in "Willow," directed by Ron Howard and produced by George Lucas.  In 1989, he earned his first dramatic role in Barry Levinson's "Avalon," but it was Pollak's role in Rob Reiner's "A Few Good Men" - opposite Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore - that proved his ability to hold his own with Hollywood heavyweights.  Shortly thereafter, Pollak co-starred with icons Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon in "Grumpy Old Men" and its sequel, "Grumpier Old Men."

In 1994, Pollak was offered a role opposite Gabriel Byrne, Kevin Spacey and Benicio Del Toro in an indie film called "The Usual Suspects."  The movie debuted at the Cannes Film Festival and won multiple Academy Awards, becoming so influential that The National Board of Review created a brand-new annual film award: The Best Ensemble Cast.  That same year, Martin Scorsese asked Pollak to join Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone in his Vegas epic, "Casino."  Pollak's other film credits include "Ricochet" (Denzel Washington & John Lithgow), "End of Days" (Arnold Schwarzenegger), "The Whole Nine Yards" (Bruce Willis & Matthew Perry) "Cop Out" (Bruce Willis & Tracy Morgan), and "The Big Year" (Steve Martin, Owen Wilson, Jack Black).

Pollak was named by Comedy Central as one of the Top 100 Comedians of All Time. His two live stand-up CDs - "A Little Off the Top" and "What Are the Chances," as well as his stand-up DVD "The Littlest Suspect" - are available at Kevinpollak.tv or on iTunes and Amazon.com.
