Giving Beyond Gifts
Video: Make this holiday count!
Has this year's wish list taken Santa longer to read than War and Peace? Have your 12 Days of Christmas multiplied to last well through Groundhog Day? Are your stockings that hang from the chimney with care held up by a 2x4 and a dozen flathead screws?
The holiday season is once again upon us, bringing lots of joy, highlighted by the fellowship of our family and friends and the spirit of generosity. But, in today's world it's easy to lose the true spirit of the season. The art of giving is more than putting a few coins in a cup and walking away. Use Less Stuff Editor Bob Lilienfeld is here with green tips and gift-giving strategies to give more and give back- by using less!
Bob Lilienfeld is widely recognized as a creative expert on reducing our impact on planet earth and giving back. He has appeared on a wide variety of network television and radio programs including CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, and FOX, as well as 150 local interviews throughout the country. He is the editor of The ULS (Use Less Stuff) Report, a newsletter aimed at spreading the benefits of source reduction and has co-authored the book Use Less Stuff: Environmental Solutions for Who We Really Are. In addition, Bob counsels corporations worldwide on programs and initiatives to give back to their communities.
